Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 is an American actress. She also works as a producer and director. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most famous. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. The series ended following its seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003).
