Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011), the spokesperson for the United States Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and was later elected governor of Iowa. Psaki became John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was the communications director to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012, serving as the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. 20 years ago, she was employed by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She was named communications director in the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
